Improving Your Speed and Accuracy

As a professional transcriptionist, it is important for your productivity, and therefore your, income to type fast. This course will help you gain speed and typing confidence. 

The average person can type around 40 WPM (words per minute).  A professional transcriptionist should type at least 70 WPM, but the faster, the better.

In this course you will learn important skills for improving your speed and accuracy. 

Some exercises in the course require the use of TurboType to complete.  We have made available a 90-day license of TurboType for this course.  In order to use this software, you will need a computer that runs Windows 10.
