Introduction to Digital Court Reporting

  • This course is designed to give participants a general understanding of how to be a digital court reporter.
  • Individuals taking this course will learn the basics of the court system including legal system including laws, legal procedure, ethics and professionalism.  Students will also receive an overview of the leading-edge technology, software and equipment used in digital reporting.
  • Students will be able to download a free, 45-day trial of digital court recording software to practice annotation skills.  This course does not include hands-on training with digital reporting equipment.
